It's made specifically for your 2018-2022 Jeep Wrangler JL with a 2-inch to 3-1/2-inch lift and includes four shocks that utilize the latest technology to improve handling at variable speeds and on different terrains. The kit comes with two front shock absorbers and two rear shock absorbers for a complete replacement.

This shock's twin body measures 2-1/4" in diameter for the greater fluid capacity to keep the shock operating cooler and provides increased control and performance. The 35mm bore and full displaced compression valving displace more fluid than comparable rod displacing valving for amplified shock motion control, and the sintered iron, fluon banded piston provides smoother piston travel and greater responsiveness to changing road conditions. Gas pressurization reduces air-to-oil mixture (foaming) and shock fade while boosting spring rate. Engineers put special attention in stress areas, like mounting points, and used double-welded loops for added strength and durability over time even when exposed to the roughest trails. To further prolong performance and allow for quicker rebound and smoother compression, Rancho has integrated low friction, self-lubricating seal that retains gas and oil. Natural black rubber bushings and a red polyvinyl accordion protective boot are included to protect the shock from dust, debris and other contaminants.

The design includes progressive rebound and compression discs that will engage the valving at lower frequencies to help control the motion energy. A custom-tuned clamp disc base valve helps regulate fluid transfer during compression cycles to absorbs impacts without disc flutter for better handling and control and uneven terrain. Another important and unique feature is the patented rebound valving system and advanced compression phase.
