Made for your 2020-2021 Jeep Gladiator JT, this shock (P/N: RS55069) will greatly improve your performance at variable speeds and on different terrain without hassle on your part. This shock is only for JTs with stock ride height and up to a 1-1/2-inch lift.
This shock's twin body measures 2-1/4" in diameter for greater fluid capacity to keep the shock operating cooler and provides increased control and performance at different speeds on a variety of terrain.
The full-displaced compression valving displaces more fluid than rod-displacing valving, for better shock motion control. The sintered iron, fluon banded piston provides smoother piston travel and greater responsiveness to changing road conditions.
Gas pressurization reduces air-to-oil mixture (foaming) and shock fade while boosting spring rate. Engineers put special attention in stress ares, like mounting points, and used double-welded loops for added strength and durability over time.
To further prolong performance and allow for quicker rebound and smoother compression, Rancho has integrated a low friction, self-lubricating seal that retains gas and oil. Natural black rubber bushings and a red polyvinyl accordion protective boot are included to protect the shock from dust, debris and other contaminants.
