As you can see with our 2016 Jeep Wrangler, we've added a ton of LED lights to improve off-road visibility, but today we're going give it a nice custom touch by installing a set of Redline Lumtronix LED Halo headlights. These headlights feature LED headlight bulbs for improved visibility, and LED halos for a nice custom look, and a plug-n-play harness to make installation quick and easy. Though, directly replace the factory headlight, and give our Jeep a nice custom touch, and today we're going to install them in our 2016 Jeep Wrangler. Tool you'll need for this installation: a 3/8 ratchet, T-40 Torx bit, 14 mm wrench, and a set of cutters, crimpers, and strippers.

Installation of these halo headlights is real simple. Remove the grill by removing the six clips holding it on. Remove the grill by pulling it forward, then remove the four T-15 screws securing in the headlight ring. Remove the retaining ring and set it aside. Slide up the red clip to unlock the connector; press it to remove it. Grab your new LED halo headlight and the adapter harness, and plug them together. Then, most people wire the halos into the marker lights. You can wire them up however you would like. We're going to hook ours up to our Trail Rocker system.

Bring the halo wires up here so I can work with them. Connect the headlight harness and then lock the red tab, and push the wiring back to make room for the headlight. Fit the headlight in place, and then install the retaining ring. Then, install the screws. Repeat the process on the other side for the other headlight. These headlights come with their own wiring, so you can hook them up any way you would like. We're going to hook ours up to our Trail Rocker system, and then we're going to run this wire through the firewall. There is a small hole right here in the firewall where you can pass the wire through to get into the foot well area. Once you pull the wire through, connect the two plugs together. Then, just simply hook up the power wire and ground wire whichever way you would like.

You need to place this sensor where it can see your remote. You can mount it anywhere, just make sure when you use your remote it can see this little sensor so it can control the halos. You can secure this wire any way you would like, just make sure the remote can see it so it can control the halos. After you finish the wiring, test to make sure the halos work, then you can reinstall the grill. Here we are about 15 feet away from our wall. We have the LED headlights on and the halos, and as you can see, they're pretty bright and have a very nice pattern to them. They look great, as well. Our LED halo headlights are installed. They look absolutely killer on this Jeep. I love the way they look. Installation's going to take you about 45 minutes, and before know, you know it, you'll be heading off road.
