2021 Ford Bronco Wheels & Tires

2021 Ford Bronco Wheels & Tires

Last Updated March 13, 2020

Ford hasn’t given fans much insight on what wheels and tires we’ll see on the 2021 Bronco. Some prototypes show they may be similar to the Ford F-150 Raptor’s wheels and tires. As the Raptor is the F-150’s off-road performance model, this wouldn’t be too surprising.

2021 Bronco Tires: Same as the F-150 Raptor?

One spy shot shows the 2021 Bronco with 33-inch BF Goodrich All-Terrain KO2 Tires. Those are actually the same tires featured on the F-150 Raptor. If they are on the Raptor, then you know they are tough enough for off-roading.

A source from The Drive spotted another prototype with Goodyear Wrangler Territory MTs. The tire sizes on this prototype were the same as the F-150 Raptor, which is 315/70R17. Does this mean that Ford will offer an off-road package for the Bronco? We may have to wait to find out until Ford’s official announcement this spring.

Will the Bronco Have Beadlock Wheels?

The Raptor has 17-inch cast-aluminum wheels and optional forged aluminum beadlock wheels. The Bronco prototype with the Goodyear tires was also sporting beadlock wheels. These wheels differ from the Raptor and those on other Bronco prototypes. This is another sign that the Bronco might see an off-road package like the Raptor. It could also mean that beadlock wheels may come standard rather than as an upgrade if that’s the case.

Durable Wheels & Tires for the Trail

When it comes to off-roading, you need meaty tires and wheels that can handle rough terrain. If you plan on investing in a 2021 Bronco but don’t want to shell out extra for the off-road package, don’t worry. You can always upgrade your wheels and tires at a later date.
