These Rigid Industries LED headlights are gonna be direct fit replacements for the factory headlights. They're DOT compliant and feature an aluminum housing with a polycarbonate lens for durability. They'll help your Jeep see better on and off the road, and it'll give it a nice custom look so today we're gonna install them on our 2008 Jeep Wrangler.
All right, so the first thing we're gonna do is pop the hood. Then you want to remove the six clips on top of the grill. Once you get all the clips removed, you can pull the grill forward and now you have access to the headlights. Remove the four T-15 Torx screws around the headlight ring. Unlock the red tab on the headlight connector by pushing it up, then unplug the headlight. Remove the headlight ring from the headlight, grab your Rigid Industries new LED headlight and plug the harness into the factory headlight harness. Lock the red tab, install the headlight retaining ring onto the headlight, then push the wire back to install the headlight. Then install all four screws.
Okay now repeat the same process for the other side and your installation's finished.
Here we are about 12 feet away from our wall and we have a side-by-side comparison of the factory halogen bulb and the Rigid Industries LED headlight. As you can see, the LED headlight is significantly brighter than the factory bulb and it looks a lot better too.
All right, so we got both Rigid Industries LED headlights installed. They look way better than the factory headlights. The other ones were foggy and just didn't look good, and they were dim. These are way brighter and look so much better. Installation's not too bad either. Should only take about 20 to 25 minutes, and before you know it, you'll be heading off road.
