Looking for a suspension solution that allows you to run massive 35x12.50 tires on your 2018-2021 2-Door Rubicon Jeep JL Wrangler? Rough Country's 3-1/2-inch Stage 2 Lift Kit (90550) supplies you with Coil Springs, Vertex Shocks, Control Arm Drop Brackets and a Driveshaft for increased ground clearance and a dominant stance.
While the JL Wrangler is substantially more powerful than previous designs, a 3-1/2-inch lift establishes your Jeep as a rugged offroad monster. The Stage 2 Coil Spring Lift Kit is the key to your Jeep's transformation. It's easy to install and assemble, with only light drilling required to complete the process. Once installed, you can expect exceptional handling and a smooth, factory-like ride quality. And, of course, you can install those aftermarket tires!
To promote incredible handling, Rough Country includes their front and rear coil springs with a linear coil rate. Unlike other designs, these coil springs retain more lift height under load! Meanwhile, Rough Country’s nitrogen-charged Vertex Shocks contribute to impressive ride quality on and off the beaten trail. These innovative shocks feature a monotube design with an external reservoir for increased oil capacity and damping sensitivity.
Features and Benefits:
- Simple Installation
- Retains Factory Ride Quality
- Includes Upgraded CV Front Driveshaft
- Includes Front Lower Control Arm Drop Brackets
- Includes Forged Adjustable Track Bar
- Increased Ground Clearance
- Clears up to 35-inch Tires
- Vertex Shocks for Damping Sensitivity
Each shock features an enormous 2-1/2-inch diameter piston and a high-flow 22mm chrome hardened piston rod. Compared to Rough Country's 2-1/2-inch piston, competitors' designs seem minuscule. Rough Country's piston design is heftier and offers a 56% greater fluid capacity than the average reservoir shock.
Rough Country also supplies a set of control arm drop brackets, allowing you to retain the factory arms at the proper geometric angle for superior handling and a smooth highway ride. Sway-bar links, bump stops and a front, adjustable forged track bar help keep your axles under control, even in serious offroad terrain. Best of all, the track bar is easy to adjust on the vehicle.
Unfortunately, JL models with a 3-1/2-inch lift or greater are susceptible to driveshaft damage at full suspension droop. The factory shaft doesn't provide enough clearance once lifted and will cause damage to the Rzeppa joint if the driveshaft spins while the suspension is fully flexed or articulated. Rough Country includes an aftermarket front CV driveshaft to solve this problem, while allowing the customer to take advantage of the full travel potential of your newly-lifted Jeep.
Please Note: Fits 2-Door Rubicon models ONLY.
