Roush Stainless Steel Resonator Delete X-Pipe for 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020 GT Mustangs.

Changing the exhaust is typically one of the first mods to be done on the 2015-2020 GT Mustang to bring out a more pronounced exhaust tone. With the stock resonator on the Mustang, the exhaust tone is greatly muted, and performance is impacted. This Roush Stainless Steel Resonator Delete X-Pipe from CJ Pony Parts will open up your Mustangs exhaust flow and let that V8 Coyote motor howl!

Features and Benefits:
- Reduces Back Pressure and Increases Exhaust Flow
- Increase Horsepower and Torque
- More Aggressive Exhaust Tone
- Stainless Steel Construction with Mandrel Bent Tubing
- 12 Pounds Lighter than Stock Resonator
- Easy Installation
- Includes All Necessary Hardware

Roush constructed this x-pipe from high-grade stainless steel for long lasting durability and resistance to corrosion. Mandrel bending of the pipes provides smooth bends for maximum exhaust flow while reducing back pressure. The more open design of this x-pipe brings out a throatier, race-inspired exhaust tone. This x-pipe weighs 12 pounds lighter than the stock resonator, and increases your maximum horsepower and torque. With included hardware for an easy installation, this resonator delete x-pipe from Roush is an easy and quick way to improve your S550 Mustangs performance and sound!

*Does NOT require any welding.

Will this still fit after I've done a MRT muffler delete?

Asked by: Jake343
Yes.

With a Roush cat back, the Roush pipe is flared over the existing pipe from the resonator.  The X pipe install shown here flares over the down stream pipe. If I try to install this with a Roush cat back do I get two flared ends meeting?

Asked by: DougC123
Still confused. The installation shown has the butt up connection with clamps at the down pipes, and the flared connection going over the cat back. Are you suggesting installing it in the opposite direction to make it go together as you described?

I bought Roush catback exhaust mufflers from you guys last year. They sound awesome but still needs a little bit more pep and I’m sure this will take it there.  If I install resonator delete, will I need to tune as the exhaust are different than stock?

Asked by: Dan1972
No you shouldn't need a tune.

Hello guys, I’m from Italy and my Mustang GT 2019 is coming in December, I would like to improve the sound immediately after a thousand miles putting the X pipe! Just a question, there will be any engine warning light? I need to have all clear as stock is

Asked by: Jay11
This part will not cause a check engine light.

There are so many X-pipe resonator delete pipes. What are the main differences in them all? Do each really produce significant changes in sound or do they all basically sound the same, with stock exhaust obviously.

Asked by: rhalljr68
They are basically all the same. Its just a matter of personal preference.
