Rugged Ridge A-Pillar Light Kit Semi-Gloss Black With Two 3-1/2" Round LED Lights Jeep Wrangler JK 2007-2018

If you've been following our YouTube channel, you've seen we've done a tone of LED upgrades to our 2016 Jeep Wrangler. But we need more, and we're gonna take her to the next level by installing a Rugged Ridge windshield light kit. This kit comes with mounts made of heavy duty steel with your choice of a textured black, black, or stainless steel finish that will directly bolt onto your windshield without cutting or drilling. It includes two round LEDs that will be super bright and help out when we're off-road and today we're gonna install it on our 2016 Jeep Wrangler.

Tools you'll need for this installation. A 3/8 ratchet, 13 millimeter socket, T-40 Torx bit, T-30 Torx bit, 13 millimeter wrench, and a set of cutters, crimpers, and strippers.

Installation of these brackets is very simple. Just remove these two T-40 Torx bolts from the a-pillar. Place your bracket on the a-pillar, then install the bolts. Tighten the top bolt down first to compress the gasket, then you should be able to get the bottom bolt started. Repeat the process on the other side, then install the light. Remove the two T-30 Torx screws on the cowl so you can run the wiring through it. Stick a bolt through the bracket on the right, then install it on the mount and thread in the nut. Plug in the pigtail, and then run the wiring under the cowl into the engine compartment. We have an aftermarket trail rocker kit that we're gonna hook our lights up to, but you can hook yours up any way you would like. Once you finish your wiring, reinstall the screws on the cowl. And your installation's finished. We installed the textured black mounts, but these mounts are also available in gloss black and stainless steel.

Here we are about 15 feet away from a wall with just the two LEDs lit up. And as you can see there, extremely bright. They will definitely help out with more off-road.

Our Rugged Ridge windshield lights are installed. They match everything on this Jeep really well. They look really good. They're gonna be really bright when we're off-road, installation's gonna take about 30 minutes, and before you know it, you'll be heading off-road.
