It includes two cube LEDs that will be super bright, and help us when we're off-road. Today we're going to install it on our 2016 Jeep Wrangler. For this installation, you will need a 3/8 ratchet, 13 mm socket, T-40 torques bit, T-30 torques bit, and a pair of cutters, crimpers, and strippers.
Installation of these brackets is very simple. Just remove these two T-40 torques bolts from the A-pillar. Place your bracket on the A-pillar. Then install the bolts. Tighten the top bolt down first to compress the gasket, then you should be able to get the bottom bolt started. Repeat the process on the other side. Then install the light.
Remove the T-30 torque screws on the cowl so you can run the wiring through it. Grab your cube light, and put a bolt through the bottom of the bracket, and set it on the mount. Then install the lock washer, and nut. Plug in the pigtail, then run the wiring under the cowl, into the engine compartment. Now, repeat the process on the other side.
We have an aftermarket trail rocker kit that we're going to hook our lights up to, but you can hook yours up any way you would like. Reinstall the four screws on the cowl. Then you installation's finished. We installed the textured black bracket, but they're also available in gloss black, and stainless steel.
Here we are about 15 feet away from our wall, and as you can see, they are extremely bright. The only thing on are the two cube LEDs. They're really going to help out when we're off-road. Our Rugged Ridge windshield lights are installed. Installation was a breeze. The textured black works really well on this jeep. Installation's going to take you about 45 minutes, and before you know it, you'll be heading off-road.
