This halogen light kit from Rugged Ridge includes two windshield mounting brackets and two 5" round 100-watt slim lights for optimal illumination while you're on the trails. It also comes with a wiring harness with a switch and two light covers with Rugged Ridge logos.

Designed, engineered and tested to stand up to the rigors of off-road use, the Rugged Ridge lights included in this kit are constructed with heavy-duty stamped steel housings and crystal glass lenses set in shock absorbent weatherproof rubber gaskets. The brilliant 12V 100-watt halogen bulbs slice through fog, rain or snow to help illuminate the road even under the toughest conditions.

When going off-roading, you can never have too much visibility. As you can see on our 2016 Jeep Wrangler, we've added a ton of lighting to it. But we're going to take it a step further by installing a Rugged Ridge Windshield Light kit.

This kit comes with mounts that directly bolt to your windshield made of heavy- duty steel with your choice of a gloss black or a stainless finish, and two really bright halogen bulbs. They're going to improve off-road visibility and give our Jeep that nice classic Jeep look, and today we're going to install them on our 2016 Jeep Wrangler.

Tools you'll need for this installation, a 3/8" ratchet, T40 Torx bit, 14 millimeter wrench, and a set of cutters, crimpers and strippers.

Installation of these brackets is very simple. Just remove these two T40 Torx bolts on the A-pillar. Just in case you are worried or wondering, these brackets do double-stack on the windshield bar brackets with the factory bolts. Tighten the first bolt down to compress the gasket, then install the second bolt. Install the light onto the bracket, then install the washer, lock washer and nut on the stud. Tighten it up with a 14 millimeter wrench. Get the light where you like it, and then repeat the process on the other side. This kit comes with its own wiring harness and switch, but we're going to wire our lights up to our Trail Rocker system, but you can wire them up any way you would like.

Here we are about 15 feet away from our wall, and all we have lit up are the two halogen lights. As you can see, they're pretty bright. They have a good pattern, they'll definitely help out when we're off road. The kit that we installed has gloss black mounts, but it's also available in stainless mounts. Our Rugged Ridge Windshield lights are installed, they give our Jeep that nice classic look, and they'll definitely help out when we're off road, but if halogen lights aren't your thing, we do have these kits available in LED. Installation will take you about an hour, and before you know it you'll be heading off road.
