San Antonio Mustang Clubs
If you’ve put time and effort into your car, you’ll want to show it off to others who can really appreciate it. Is your project car not quite done yet? Maybe meeting up with some like-minded drivers will give you the boost you need to finally finish things. For these reasons and more, it’s worth it to take the time to investigate some of the Mustang clubs in your area.
In San Antonio, there are several major clubs that are worth checking out. In existence since 1980, the San Antonio Mustang Club is the oldest and probably most active. The group holds regular swap meets, rallies, clinics, and social events. An annual fall car show is held each October to raise money for local charities. Interested in learning more? Meetings are held the first Wednesday of the month, and they are open to the public.
San Antonio’s Mustang owners are also served by the San Antonio Shelby Club — a newer organization that, as the name implies, caters exclusively to Shelby, SVT, and other high-performance or modded Mustangs. The club has grown considerably since its inception in 2011, and now it’s an active presence at local and national shows, races, fundraisers and other events.
