Scott Drake 3-Speed Heater Blower Resistor Switch for 1967-1968 Mustangs with Air Conditioning.

Having trouble with the heat or a/c in your 1967-1968 Mustang? Your heater blow resistor switch may have blown--replace it with this 3-Speed Heater Blower Resistor Switch C7ZZ-19A706-A from Scott Drake today!

This is an OEM-style, direct replacement part for the factory original heater blower motor switch resistor in all 1967-1968 Mustangs with an air conditioning system installed. This Heater Blower Resistor Switch is installed directly on to the heater box and regulates the flow of current into the motor, ultimately regulating the speed at which the heater blower motor runs. Without this resistor functioning properly, you can bank on some extreme temperatures!

These resistors often fail and prevent the blower motor from turning on. So if the resistor on the heater blower motor has stopped working, or is broken or missing, this is the part you need to get that heater blower motor pushing out the air and keeping you warm in winter and cool in summer!

*If you have a 1967 Mustang without A/C, you will need to purchase this Heater Blower Motor Switch Resistor (C2OA18591A).

Scott Drake has become an iconic brand that redefines quality for reproduction and aftermarket Mustang parts for 1964 to present Mustangs, and has become the standard for OEM quality Mustang parts that offer the best fit, durability and quality. Every part is designed to look and function exactly like the original, right down to the tiny details that the manufacturers of standard reproductions tend to ignore.

Where is this resistor switch located on my 1968 mustang with factory air? Inside the air handler or outside this box?

Asked by: Alan
It should be on the outside of the box.

I have a 1968 without A/C. I cannot seem to find a blower motor resistor, but this one appears to look correct.  Will this work in a car without A/C?

Asked by: JasonT1124
Unfortunately, no, it won't work on a non-AC vehicle. I looked around, and one that works on non-AC vehicles isn't available. Perhaps a salvage yard would be a good source?
