Rated 1 out of 5 by from scot drake antenna issues not happy wasted too much time on a product that should have worked out of the box do not know how well the reception will be on the radio since we wasted about three hours on something that should have taken maybe 15 minutes. they have issue with male threads not being long enough for mast to screw onto base would not purchase again. we damaged the billet aluminum trying to tighten base down enough to install the mast .taking away from the appearance of new paint job. i think they should send me a new nut for all of my trouble but not holding bteathe on that

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pretty Good Kind of annoying to put on but once it's on it looks really nice on my 65' inline 6 200. The install video helped a bunch. Can't wait to see what it sounds like when she gets back on the ground after her engine and suspension rebuilds!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor quality - Poor Fit Tried to install, but the mast threads are too short when the base is installed in the fender. The flange on the mast appears bent, it won't seat against the base. Scott Drake is a great company and typically is the best quality there is. But this product is disappointing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect fit. Looks really good. I wasn't sure about this with some of the reviews, but if you read the instructions it will fit perfect. The larger beveled end must face to the right side of the fender in order for the threads to work on the mast. Both the grommet into the car and on the fender are high quality and fit nicely. Genuine Scott Drake product and it looks awesome!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Mast threads are too short - Doesn't work I have the same problem as others. The mast threads are too short and it won't screw on. I'm wondering if some of these are defective. I'd like them to send me a new mast head to see if the threads are longer. It's totally unusable this way.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor design First off I need to state that I purchased this for a 1964 Falcon, knowing that they are similar to the Mustangs, I took a chance. The biggest issue is that the way the top piece is machined. The threads barely engage the base...there is absolutely no give or adjustment. It's a beautiful billet antenna that suffers from a lack of real world application. Gave up trying to make it work after 4 hours of frustration.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Threads on the mast is too short! Just like everyone else here mentioned, this product does not work. The threads on the mast is recessed too deep inside the counterbore. Not sure why they're selling this. Total waste of my time and money.

I received my billet antenna and it says to use the original lower mount. I have no antenna to start with Do I need to purchase the lower antenna mounting bracket also ? Why wouldn't they include it in the antenna or at least say you need this mount too

Asked by: butcer55
You will need a lower antenna mount.

Have you figured put why the mast head threads are not long enough? I had mine install, then i took the mast off to run it though the car wash, not the mast wont thread into the base.

Asked by: Ryanw
Is there debris on the threads or maybe the threads need cleaned.
