Vehicle Fitment

This product will fit the following Mustang years:

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Well Made Overall, a well-made item. I waited almost two years to receive this item because it was backordered. Upon arrival, I unpackaged it only to find that it was scratched on the alloy scoop and that someone had tried to conceal the scratch by using touch-up paint. The touch-up wasn't even the same shade of black. Very disappointed in the quality control. I contacted CJ Pony parts and customer service emailed me a shipping label to begin the exchange process. It will likely be another couple of weeks before I receive the new scoop. The scratch and touch-up happened at Scott Drake, not at CJ Pony Parts.

I have a 1969 with a 351 Windsor 4bbl set up. Can I actually convert this to a shaker hood setup and what will I have to do to make this work properly? I have the original hood with the basic mach 1 scoop.

Asked by: diego1
The mounting holes left over from your old scoop will be a problem. You’ll have to weld them up and refinish your hood. You will also have to accurately make a hole for the new shaker scoop to stick up through. Or you can buy a new hood that is already cut out for the shaker.

I have a 1970 Mach 1, I need just the rubber seal for my shaker hood scoop mine has a tear in it. Do you sell the seal separately?
