Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works good It’s about 8 inches longer than the original but I routed it a different way and it works fine. Now I can pull the instrument panel without unhooking the cable first, makes it easier

will this cable work with classic Instruments speedometer and if not which one will with the classic instruments and I have a 3 speed manual transmission.

Asked by: superman38
Classic instruments uses electronic speedometers, they supply the necessary parts to eliminate the use of a cable in their gauge kits.

I am under the impression the original '1965-66 Speedometer Cables had a metal inside lining to prevent wear and speedometer unstable readings. Is this correct and, if so, do your concours cable have a metal lining?

Asked by: rj1966
Since this is concours correct, if the original contained that metal lining, this one will too.
