Scott Drake 9-Bolt Billet Adjustable Steering Wheel Adapter for all 1965-1966 Mustangs.

The steering wheel is the focal point of the interior dash in your 1965-1966 Mustang. You handle it every day, which can cause it to age faster than some other parts in your interior. Upgrading your steering wheel can be a great way to rejuvenate the interior look of your classic pony car. However, some of the best-looking and highest-quality wheels require a wheel adapter to install them into your 1965-1966 Mustang. CJ Pony Parts carries this Scott Drake S1MS-3511-P 9-Bolt Adjustable Steering Wheel Adapter for all 1965-1966 Mustangs. Order your own adapter today so you can swap out your old, decrepit steering wheel for a premium, aftermarket one.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Horrible Workmanship, Buy Another Brand I bought this adapter along with the Corso Feroce 14" steering wheel from Scott Drake. Although the wheel looks and feels great, the protective polyurethane coating has started to crack. The adapter is horrible! Look at the pictures of the contact ring. The copper contact surface is sloppy and causes occasional sparks from the horn contacts. I pulled out the old steering wheel components and it is night and day as far as workmanship. I have had to re-solder the wires on my adapter multiple times and still have no horn! Save your money and buy another brand. No I have a very expensive steering wheel that I cannot use, or can use and have no horn.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Looks great But.... This is a really nice piece of billet, however it does not adjust as the info would suggest, you do not get a telescoping wheel or the ability to move the steering wheel in and out. The adjustment is the trim ring so you don't get an unsightly gap. Proper info on Cj's and The Scott Drake website would be good.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Lacking some critical information Good fit on the column and wheel, but it is does lack information about how to set the depth correctly against the turn signal switch. Putting dielectric grease on the copper horn ring helps. You have to be sure that the horn contacts are not putting too much pressure on the horn rings.
