Dash pot Bracket bolted to carburetor as designed with NO modifications required. Dash pot shaft required 3/8 inch shorter modification so the throttle linkage could return the throttle value to the closed position.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Almost Perfect. Bought to replace my OEM rod, when I put a new Holley on my 302. The "carb bushing" is good. However, like the other reviewer stated, there's no bushing for the throttle/pedal linkage end. I ended up putting a rubber grommet in it and it works fine. I think a nylon bushing (similar to OEM) should be included. This is a good looking, easy to adjust, replacement and WILL pull the carb all the way open!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not good just received the throttle rod, and I was expecting a little more. I've built Several of these, using 1/4" Heim ends and was expecting the same. Instead I received a kit with #8 machine screws and Heims. There is only one bushing in the kiit, I guess you can install it either at the carb or at the firewall, but not both. That means one end will be loose and rattle around. I guess it's back to making them myself.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Average piece! It does the job, fully adjustable. I think the descriptive word "Billet" is a little misleading as it is not a typical highly polished billet piece. A definite upgrade to the O.E. linkage and does look better.

Product Questions

I swapped a two barrel carb to a Holley 4 barrel on my 302 71 Bronco. Trying to improvise the throttle rod, what is the dimension from stud to stud? Looking for something similar to this that is 6 1/2" from stud to stud. Thanks for your help! Steve
