Set of Seat Track Plates for all 1965, 1966, 1967, 1968, 1969, 1970, 1971, 1972 and 1973 Mustangs.

Make your new 1965-1973 Mustang's interior last forever with this Set of Seat Track Plates! Protect your pony's carpet from sharp edges and prevent unwanted wrinkles with these easy-to-install plates.

This set of 8 heavy steel plates, stamped in the original gauge steel, is just what you need to keep a space between the carpet and the seat tracks for easier seat adjustment. Mustangs with bench seats will only require 4 plates, whereas front bucket seats require 4 per side. These seat track plates keep the carpet on the floor separated and protected from the metal of the seat tracks. A must-have if you're installing new carpet or seats!

*One set is enough for one Mustang.

The seats in your Mustang are one place that takes some significant abuse from the driver and passengers. Not only might they face dirt and liquids, but they also get sat on every time you’re behind the wheel, gradually wearing them out. If your Mustang seats are in need of some serious rehabilitation, check out the huge selection of Mustang seats and seat parts from CJ Pony Parts.

Order a Set of Seat Track Plates for your 1965, 1966, 1967, 1968, 1969, 1970, 1971, 1972 or 1973 Mustang from CJ Pony Parts today!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Overall nice! I bought these because I lost one of my original plates. I decided to take the original plates to the wire wheel to remove any rust and debris and then repaint them black. When I misplaced one I bought these. The metal is a lot thinner and I had to paint these black as well but they would work fine. I just used one to replace the one I misplaced until I can find the original or get an original one at a swap meet.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Workable solution These plates are different than ones I pulled out from under my seats. The plates I removed were rectangular - without an open end, but these plates were the only replacements I could find. Still not sure if these are the original style, or if the rectangular ones are correct. I did have to paint and double these plates up as they are significantly thinner than the previous ones.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Part were thinner than the origional. Parts fit but were too thin, I used two sets and actually doubled them to get the seat tracks off the carpet.

I’ve read that the reproduction track plates are much thinner than the originals.  Is it a good idea to double them up for proper function?  I also believe they were originally black. Are they available in black?  Thank you!

Asked by: ShelbyCobra
You can double them up if needed. These will need painted.
