Rated 1 out of 5 by TcMustang from Was told it was the correct product for my applica I purchased two of these kits because a spare might come in handy some day. I planned to use it for my OEM floor shifter and a aftermarket shifter linkage rod kit (sold here at CJP) to connect to a AOD transmission in my 66 Mustang with a 50 HO engine. I was told by CJ that this was the correct bushing kit if I am using the OEM floor shifter. The bushing fit my OEM floor shifter but not the linkage rod. I took pictures and emailed them to CJ a couple weeks ago and still haven't had any response. I'll attach a few pics here to show why it doesn't fit (connection wobbles).

I bought these bushings but I still have no idea where they go :-) At the same time I bought HW61465-93 AUTO SHIFTER BUSHINGS (2). I found a tutorial to fit HW61465 but there are not even any instructions for the other kit. Any ideas anybody ??????
While rk cjpp is correct, to clarify, the kit will do TWO cars. Yes, 1 ea. insulator will go in the end of your shifter arm while 2 ea. of the bushings will go on each side of your shifter arm. From inner out it will go like this, cotter pin, metal washer. 1 ea bushing, your shifter arm end with the 1 ea. insulator installed in it, 1 ea. bushing, the round link (one end goes through the shifter arm and the other end will go through your link arm), linkage rod, nut.

Same question. My shifter handle wobbles around. Will this resolve that problem?
I would recommend trying CJ part # HW614, based on your description.
