Shock Tower Driver Side 1969-1970 is rated 3.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Seem weaker than stock ... Am in the middle of an install of these now. What I've noticed so far; 1. Inadequate welds. Glad i will be welding, because these will need to be beefed up. In some instances their spot and tack welds burned through and created a hole or gap. 2. Rust under primer. The passenger side had a sand paper texture to the primer in some places. Thought it was weld spatter. When i sanded it down it was rust. Great ... rust frrom the factory. Because the stock design wasn't weak enough. So i sanded to bare metal, primed and shot it engine bay black. 3. Overall fitment; pretty good. No trimming necessary. Mocked it up using factory bolt holes and fits true. Overall, wish there was more attention to quality in the details especially in a piece that will see significant stress bearing the load of the engine AND suspension forces.
