Okay, we have the Jeep up in the air. We're going to remove the factory stabilizer. All you'll need is an 18 mm wrench. Loosen the first bolt and remove the factory nut. We have the nut off, but we can't remove this bolt just yet. Then, remove the nut down on this side. Pop the stabilizer off of its stud. Then, you're going to want to grab the stabilizer and kind of bend the bracket and the bolt should be able to come out along with the steering stabilizer. Okay, here's our Skyjacker Steering Stabilizer. It looks way better than the factory one. Now, I have to install the bushings onto the ends and push them in. Now, for the sleeves. Now, for the other one. With the bushings and sleeves in, we can now install the boot. You don't need anything to secure it up top, just get it over the lip, but then on the bottom here we're going to use the provided zip tie. Trim off the excess and it's now ready for installation. Reinstall it in the reverse order that you took the factory one out. Install the factory nuts and tighten them down, and our installation is finished.
All right. We got our Skyjacker Steering Stabilizer installed. It looks way better than the factory stabilizer and it'll make our Jeep a lot more enjoyable when we lift this and get bigger tires on it. Installation is super easy; you only need an 18 mm wrench and about 30 to 45 minutes. Before you know it, you'll be heading off road.
