Starkey Y-Adapter Inline Exterior Illumination F-150 2021

Found beneath the rear bumper of your 2021 F-150 is a C431 inline connector where you can install the Starkey Exterior Illumination Inline Y-Adapter. This adapter allows you to connect lighting accessories that are operable from your key FOB. The plug-and-play Y-adapter uses CLN25 and GD406 circuits to connect exterior lighting to a 12v operation without splicing your factory wiring. Starkey includes an OEM connector on the Y-Adapter to use with Deutsch DT-series plug outputs. Once connected, you can use your F-150's key FOB unlock and lock button for a seamless and subtle on/off operation of the exterior lighting just like your stock lighting.

Tech Tips:
- Fitted for pre-wired CLN25 Circuits and GD406 Circuits. All 2021 F-150s that are equipped with the Trailer Assist Lamp, as well as factory-installed tow package, are pre-wired. To determine if your F-150 is pre-wired, check the C431 inline connector. On at least one of the plugs, Pin #6 (Black with Yellow Stripe) and Pin #10 (White with Green Stripe) must both be present for this adapter to work. If they are not, you will also need Starkey HW5024.
- Due to a mid-year production change by Ford, this kit fits 2021 F-150s produced BEFORE July of 2021. You can determine when your truck was manufactured by locating the label on your driver-side door jamb for a manufacturing date. If your truck was manufactured DURING or AFTER July of 2021, this product will NOT function properly. Allows you to connect lighting accessories to the +12v puddle lamps circuit (CLN25 – AKA ‘Kerb Illumination’) and ground circuit (GD406) seamlessly.
