*Will not fit 2015-2020 Convertible Mustangs.

Please Note: These WILL work with Steeda's IRS Subframe Support Braces (SFC44 - Steeda P/N 555-5754) without any interference.

Powdercoated wrinkle black for a low key, yet durable finish, these will last a lifetime under your 2015-2020 S550 Mustang Fastback. Steeda includes Zinc-plated, flange-headed, grade 10.9 hardware for a simple bolt-in design that can be removed at any time as they use factory mounting holes. These allow you to jack up your Mustang with confidence anywhere along the jacking rail, preventing damage to your factory pinch welds. They provide a great point for jack stands and two post lifts as well. Steeda's new Ultra Lite Low-Profile Chassis Jacking Rails will also add strength and function to your modern muscle car while retaining substantial ground clearance.

Vehicle Fitment

This product will fit the following Mustang years:

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product - should have installed sooner! ** Watch the video, it explains a lot ** 1. SIMPLE installation. Did the install on the ground, without lifting the car, other than some landscape pavers under the tires. 2. 4 bolts. Although pulling the last one on the back of each side isn't really necessary is it? It's used for the next mod ... IRS subframe brace! 3. One jack, one lift, change both tires. GREATNESS 4. Not noticeable under the car. It does hang down about a half inch more than the pinch weld. Lowered cars may have issues. Mine won't. 5. Instructions are a bit vague (as is the video) about which is the passenger and which is the driver's side. Common sense and looking at the mounting will tell you which is which ... Bill's comment about the orientation of the rail helps a lot.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from May not look the same but still fit Received mine and noticed 2 things. 1- The rails are slightly different in length and 2- Mine did not have slots in the holes as in the installation video. I was told that the manufacturer changed the rails slightly, anyway, I had them installed in 30 minutes with the car on the ground. This is a quick and simple installation. Just remember that the holes that are close together go towards the front of the car with the angled bracket part facing the center of the vehicle. The 2016 Mustang Service Manual calls for a drop of Blue Loctite with a torque of 46 Ft Lbs on the bolts removed so do the same when installing the new hardware. That's it you're done. Happy Motoring, Vince

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A must have! Took all of 15 minutes to install. Makes jacking the S550 a breeze and much more secure on jack stands. This should of been the very FIRST bolt on available. If you haven't begun your mods and are going to be doing any job on jack and jack stands, BUY THESE FIRST.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Mandatory first mod I was originally a little concerned about how short the rails were for fear that I could not safely support the car with jack stands. However, the center of mass of the car sits quite forward on the Mustang. Now I can get my car of the ground in less that 5 mins....safely!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Much better Jacking Installed these while doing many other mods so I lifted it up first then did everything. Only issue I had is being a convertible, which they say they fit on, was a tough fit. The rear braces are the issue. In the Q&A they say to put the jacking rails under the the factory braces, as in put the jacking rails on first. I did that and still could not get the drivers side rear bolt to line up. I had to file the mounting hole in the jacking rail a little oblong to get everything to fit. Also the included bolts are too short to go through both these rails and the factory braces at the same time, so I just reinstalled the factory bolt on the rear. Otherwise great product and well worth the money and weight addition. Much easier to let the car down then it was to put it up.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Painless install! I purchased these Steeda Jacking Rails for my 2016 Mustang. Installed in less than 30 minutes without jacking the car up. Only recommendation would be to get some loctite for the 15 mm bolts. Puting my car up on jack stands has never been this quick. Perfectly packaged!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect fit This was exactly what I was looking for. They fit perfect and the ease of jacking up the car is wonderful. Used jack stands to replace rocker panels on my 2015 and had no worries.

What is the correct sequence for jacking up the entire car using these jacking rails? Is it safe to jack up one side of the car, then the other? Or should you do both fronts then both rears? Or vice versa.

Are these as good as the BMR jacking rails and do they provide some rigidity to the car as advertised with the BMR rails? Do i need the low profile rails and what is the difference between the two? l have a 2017 Mustang GT California edition. Thanks, Rich

Asked by: Richard 17
We do not offer the BMR jacking rails so we cannot comment on them or the differences between them and these. What I can tell you is that the design of the car dictates that these can only really exist one way and be installed one way. So I can't really see one manufacturers jacking rails truly being superior over another. Either way, they are a great investment.
