The Steeda 2015-2020 Mustang IRS Sub Frame Bushing Support System for your S550 V6, EcoBoost or GT is made from CNC machined 6061 aluminum. This support system is very easy to install, with basic hand tools, even on jack stands in your driveway or garage. As an added benefit, this bushing kit does not require any permanent modifications to your car and installation can be reversed just as simple as it was installed.

When completely stock, your entire rear IRS subframe assembly will move around under acceleration, braking and even more so when slamming gears or spirited driving. This is a huge concern due to the fact that every single rear suspension piece is connected to your rear subframe. Every suspension component is moving around so violently that it makes it very hard for your suspension to work properly and keep the tires planted on the pavement for traction the way it was designed. These issues can cause unwanted changes in camber and toe which leads to unpredictable traction and control, resulting in handling issues.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good but not great. This does cut some of the hop but I would say probably 30% to 40%. For the most part it is a simple install with the exception of the two part bushing. No where near as easy as Bill makes it seem. That stiffener squeezes between two pieces of metal that was particularly tight on my vehicle. The lubricate helped but the screwdriver didn't really do much and was a waste of time. Finally resorted to using Channel locks to squeeze and maneuver it in place. Went much, much faster. Additionally, I did the install with jack stands and the tires on. Did one side at a time and one bolt at a time using the other bolt to lower the bushing of the removed bolt in order to get the upper stiffener in place. That part went very smoothly

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great upgrade The bushings really help the rear end feel attached to the car. It no longer gives me the feeling like the entire thing would fall off, by itself its not a solution to the wheel hop plage, but it makes a drastic improvement. Cudos Steeda!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Definitely worth the purchase. Eliminated my wheel hop when accelerating from a stand still. The rear end also doesn't sink drastically like it use to when accelerating and it doesn't jump as hard when shifting through the gears. Overall I'm very happy with my purchase. The install only took about an hour for both sides. Not very difficult but the rear lower bushings can be a challenge.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Installed the Steeda IRS Subframe Bushing Support I did install these on my 2015, they did stiffen the rear a bit and did reduce but not eliminate wheel hop. They did take a bit longer to install than the "about an hour: it took me an ASE master tech using a hoist about 90 minutes to do the install (it was the first time I had installed these). They are worth the cost and effort, but don't expect a miracle. I am now installing the vertical links and a few other components help address the rear suspension squirm issues when cornering hard.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Got more than I expected Put this on my 2015 PP 5.0. Really helped with the wheel hop(when combined with the diff bushings). What didn't expect was the huge change in the stiffness of the rear of the vehicle. Guess I need to upgrade the front end now.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 2017 Supercharged Mustang GT Definately firmed up the rear end! I did not have much of an issue with wheel hop before, but now when in turns and tipping into or backing out of the throttle, it doesnt get loose/scary as it did prior to install. Im going to go further now. This is an excellent first start to stabilizing the rear end. Love it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Mod Already had the k member brace and subframe braces, added the subframe bushings along with the sport linear springs, and verticals links and wow what a difference. Much smoother, feels planted , much better when shifting hard, no nose dive and less bouncy. (In my opinion the PP springs are super bouncy). The only item not on my car are the rear toe links don't know how much difference it would make but overall very happy with the result as a whole package. Rear 2 piece is a pain to install but not impossible.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from One Two Combo I paired these with Steeda's subframe alignment kit, the little black tube inserts, because I did not want to drop the subframe twice for the same type of install. You'll need some good spray on lubricant for sure and don't be afraid to be generous. Those two piece oval shaped parts are tough to get into position. Just another small piece of the puzzle when it comes to eliminating wheel hope. High quality percision built Steeda parts with zero issues from packaging to install.

I have 15 gt with roush phrase 1 supercharger,steeda bushings and rear subframes. add side exhaust kit from cerivins, have to remove the subframe for clearance. What is the best choice replacement toe links or vertical links? limit wheel hop,body roll.
