Steeda Rear Disc Brake Upgrade Kit 13" Mustang 2005-2014

This Steeda 13" Rear Disc Brake Upgrade Kit is the lightest of its kind on the market, resulting in less unsprung weight and decreased rotating mass. Also included in this kit are the stainless steel braided brake hoses with factory brackets making for an easy O.E. type installation. The brackets are manufactured from aircraft-grade aluminum for greater strength and considerably lighter weight. The wider and larger diameter of this custom-designed, DBA sourced vented rotors, provide for better cooling for your brakes. The rotors are slotted and disperse the heat, gas, and dust buildup which reduces brake fade, preserving and maintaining the braking power Mustang.

Steeda's 13" Rear Disc Brake Upgrade Kit retains the excellent Ford factory caliper, maintaining the proper piston size for compatibility with the sensitive Mustang Anti-Lock brake system and allows for easy sourcing of replacement brake pads and friction compounds. At 13 inches in diameter, this kit also has better wheel fitment choices than other competitive 14 inch kits on the market today. Steeda's 13" Rear Disc Brake Upgrade Kit will fit behind most factory 17" or larger wheels and when combined with Steeda's 14" front disc brake kit, the rear brakes provide optimum overall braking under any driving conditions.

Steeda's in-house designed and engineered 13" Rear Disc Brake Upgrade Kit fits all S197 Mustangs, except for the 2013 and 2014 Shelby GT500, and has been developed utilizing the knowledge gained from Steeda's vast competition experience, dating back to the days of IMSA racing with the 1993 and 1995 Cobra R's.
