Steering Pitman Arm for 1965-1966 Mustangs with a V8 Engine and 1967 Mustangs Built Before May 1967 Equipped with Power Steering.

There are plenty of telltale signs that your 1965-1966 or early 1967 Mustang needs a new pitman arm. One big sign is if you have a lot of play in your steering wheel. Another is if your Mustang is "wandering" from left to right as you're driving down the road. Or, even worse, if you can't steer your Mustang at all! So if your factory pitman arm isn't working like it used to, make sure you pick up this Steering Pitman Arm from CJ Pony Parts!

This Steering Pitman Arm connects to your Mustang's steering box, and a ball joint helps it move in a circular motion. This then tells your wheels to move left or right, depending on how you turn your steering wheel. So it's easy to see why installing this new Pitman Arm is an important part of staying safe on the road as you're cruising to your next car show or car meet! This stock-style replacement is an excellent choice for those who are looking for a reliable direct fit replacement for their factory pitman arm.

Please Note: This Steering Pitman Arm is for use with 1967 Mustangs with power steering and a 1" outer diameter selector shaft. If you need a Pitman Arm for a 1-1/8" selector shaft, please see CJ Pony Parts # PA2.

Is your Ford Mustang's steering system having any repeated issues? Is your pony car routinely pulling to one side or the other? If you answered "yes" to either one of the previous questions, then your factory pitman arm may be failing. If you are searching for quality pitman arms for Mustangs, look no further than CJ Pony Parts!

Order a Steering Pitman Arm for your 1965-1966 Mustang with a V8 Engine or your 1967 Mustang Built Before May 1967 Equipped with Power Steering from CJ Pony Parts today!

I have a 67 Mustang Coupe, 6 cylinder manual steering with a 1" shaft pitman arm, but your PA 1, that fits a 1" steering box does not have a stud to fit into the drag bar. Where do I find a pitman arm for a 1" shaft and a stud?

my 67 had a 6 cylinder, now a 302. If this doesn't fit , then what part do I use? My understanding was there are only 2 different ones. 1-1/8 or 1".. Also isn't there a ball joint on the center link end ?

Asked by: bry 67
That depends on if the car has power steering or not. This pitman arm will only work on power steering center links.
