In order to prevent fading and warping, the StopTech Street Pack Slotted Rotors and Sport Brake Pad Kit 934.61022 includes Vac-U-Slots that reduce the temperature at high speeds in your 1999-2004 V6 and GT Mustangs. Just as brake pads wear, these upgraded slotted rotors keep air blowing to prevent build up and maintain quiet braking.

StopTech's exclusive Vac-U-Slots are machined into the rotor itself and help to evacuate gases and dust from on and around the rotor. These slots also help in keeping the brake pad surface clean, which ensures consistent contact with the included Sport series pads. Even while driving in the rain, or other inclement and wet conditions, StopTech's Slotted Brake Rotors implements their Vac-U-Slot design which helps to push water off of the braking surface for maximum friction levels and increased stopping power. StopTech rotors are finished in a durable black e-coat on the hat, edges and internal vanes to prevent nasty corrosion. The braking surfaces however are left in a bare iron finish to improve brake pad bed-in.
