Vehicle Fitment

This product will fit the following Mustang years:

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Appears to be nice quality Pretty nice kit. Keep in mind, if you are converting a manual steering 6 cyl. Car to v8 components you will need to purchase a v8 pitman arm and drag link as this kit does not come with them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Incredible improvement! it was a great learning experience for me, the drive on badly constructed roads is much smoother.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not very "supreme" Bought this kit of my 65 coupe. Also with a number of other parts to competely replace my front suspension. First thing I notice was everything was made in either China and Taiwan. Second nearly all of the brushing just seemed like they were sitting on shelves for years they had a weird white coating on them(hopefully not mold) anyways, it came of with some degreaser. Installing it was straight forward. With the lack instructions I relied on YouTube and my mustang teardown book for torque specs . Take off old and replace. Until it got to the springs. "You Better have the right tools for that part". After it was all put together and aligned about a week later it started squeaking and it was squeaking LOUD. I'm still troubleshooting to see where the squeak it coming from, its almost embarrassing. Finally after about a week of installation the surface rust is already attacking all parts that I received in this kit. I say stay clear of this kit or completely paint and prep the parts before hand. Also both upper control arms have no grease fitting. Might be where the squeak coming from.

I have a 66 mustang, v8, originally a 6 cyl., and as been changed over to the correct spindles for a v8, how do I know if the steering box has been changed? I don't think it has because it doesn't steer well. I have changed the front coils, mounts, shocks

Asked by: RS289
The steering box would be the same.
