Headrest Installation Instructions

1965-1967 Mustangs

 

1. Remove the rear bucket seat cover with a flat screw driver or similar tool. This will expose the seat frame. Be careful to save all of the clips.

2. Put the headrest bracket together as shown with the provided nuts and bolts. Place the headrest onto the seat frame so that the rounded section rests on the top of the seat frame. Mark and drill the top holes using a 1/4" drill bit. Attach the headrest bracket to the top of the seat frame using the supplied nuts and bolts. Mark and drill the bottom holes using the headrest bracket as a template. The bottom holes should be 1/8". Attach these using the provided nuts and bolts.

3. Replace the rear bucket seat cover.
