Turbosmart Kompact Shortie Dual Port Blow Off Valve for all 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019 EcoBoost Mustangs.

Now that you finally own a 2015-2019 EcoBoost Mustang, you have the ability to enjoy owning a turbo powered vehicle and hearing that turbo spool up when you hit that throttle. Unfortunately, vehicle manufactures do such a nice job of regulating how much turbo noise you can actually hear, turning that enjoyment into disappointment pretty quick. Turbosmart introduces the solution to these problems and more!

The benefits to using a Turbosmart Blow Off Valve (BOV) instead of the factory Bypass Valve (BPV) is endless. Mainly, the OE BPV is constructed of plastic and is controlled by the ECU. This causes a few serious issues, the most problematic of which can be inconsistent manifold pressure which causes the ECU to limit boost and that can change your torque management and effect your performance. If you plan on modifying your 2015-2019 EcoBoost Mustang and turning the boost up, the new Turbosmart Kompact Shortie Dual Port Blow Off Valve will help ensure you’re not only doing it safely, but also doing it with a name you can trust.

Features and Benefits:
- Mechanically Operated Valve
- Ensures Consistent Manifold Pressure
- Full Billet Aluminum Construction
- Boost Handling Capabilities of Over 40psi
- Easy Bolt-on Installation

Kit Includes:
- Kompact Shortie Dual Port Blow Off Valve
- Straight and Banjo Nipple Fittings
- Mounting Screws and Spring Clamps
- Detailed Installation Instructions

The Turbosmart Dual Port BOV converts the OE system to a mechanically operated valve that is purely controlled by the throttle only and pressure differential. Your ECU will no longer be able to open the valve when it wants to use it for boost limiting. Your original bypass valve does not 100% seal the inside the intake. This results in a small amount of manifold pressure actually not getting to the motor and just bypassing. Your OE BPV also has the ability to crack open further when boost is increased, resulting in significant losses in power. This Ford Mustang blow off valve completely seals off that section of the intake ensuring that all possible manifold pressure is there for the motor to help spool your turbo and increase overall response.

Order the Turbosmart Kompact Shortie Dual Port Blow Off Valve for your 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 or 2019 EcoBoost Mustang from CJ Pony Parts today!

Turbosmart sells this BOV as the single and this dual port BOV? What are the advantages/differences between a single and a dual port BOV? (Trying to figure out which to buy.) Thanks.

Asked by: Hampton CIT
A dual port BOV (blow off valve) is better than a single port unit because it eliminates surge conditions and lag. A dual port BOV uses a valve section that is activated by low pressures, like those encountered during idle or slow speed driving. At higher speeds and pressures, a secondary valve opens to relieve the large quantities of back pressure produced when the throttle is released. Because of the dual valves, the amount of lag during gear shifts is reduced, and dangerous back pressure surges are prevented.

It seems like you may have the BOV adjusted too tight.
