When it comes to your 2011-2014 3.5L EcoBoost F-150 Ford did a great job with the design of the motor. However, there is one thing that without a doubt would help the longevity of your motor and that’s UPR’s new Satin 4" Mega Catch Can Oil Separator.

Features and Benefits:
- Show Quality Satin Finish
- T-6 6061 CNC Machined Billet Aluminum

- Improves Fuel Economy, Throttle Response and Performance

An oil separator or catch can is used on high performance vehicles because over time, especially with forced induction engines, oil eventually begins to cake in your throttle body and if untreated can result in a stuck or slow responding throttle.

This catch can is made in the USA and features a show quality satin finish. This T-6 6061 CNC machined billet aluminum mega catch can measures 7.5” tall and 4” wide and improves fuel economy, throttle response and overall performance.

The exclusive 4-Chamber Design traps oil efficiently and effectively while only taking approximately 30-45 minutes for installation. This kit from UPR includes everything you need to ensure the longevity of your F-150’s engine.

Kit Includes:
- Nickel Drain Cock
- Adjustable Mounting Bracket
- OEM 5/8" Factory Connectors
- 3/8" Goodyear Braided Hoses
- 5/8" Goodyear Braided Hoses
- Billet Hose Ends with Clamps
- Hi-Flo Billet Check Valves (2 Pieces)
- Plug N Play Quick Release Connectors & Billet Fittings
- Dual Valve Billet Catch Can (Exclusive 4 Chamber Design)
- Clean Side Separator (Multi-Stage Filtration) New Low Profile Design

Tech Tip: CJ Pony Parts suggests that you drain your new catch can every oil change. And do not pour the used oil back into the engine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exceptional quality Installed the day I received this oil separator. 08/09/2018. It came exactly as pictured. I've worked as a mechanic before so after one video viewing and glancing at the instructions it went on just as easy as they said it would. Hardest part was routing the two hoses for passenger side. Did not see much residue on factory passenger pvc line but the driver side line was wet for sure. Super glad i done my research, catch cans are not built the same. If your not running a 4 chamber can and dual check valves you probably wasted your money. - 2012 F150 Lariat. 3.5 eco-boost 96,000 miles. Just bought it, i love the truck.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from UPR Catch Can Piece O Cake to install. litterly 40 mins from start to finish. Caught half a glass of gunk in the first 1000 miles. Looks like a 1.4 MPG boost. Went from 17.8 MPG to 19.2 MPG Highway.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from We shall see. Video is helpful for install but you will run into snags along the way. Biggest problem was that mounting bracket for catch can is too long. The catch can is mounted too far away from the radiator which means there is not enough clearance when you shut the hood. The quick fix is to rotate the catch can so that it is mounted more sideways. This allows the hood to close but it still rubs. In addition when I contacted customer service to ask a question the guy was pretty rude.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product! I bought this a month ago. It was very simple to install. It took me approximately 1 hour or less. I’ve been emptying every 2-3 days & I get brown oily stuff out of it that smells real bad. I wish I would’ve known about this when I bought the truck brand new. I’m glad to keep this stuff out of the engine now! (do not empty this stuff in a plastic bottle and leave it in there for anytime of period it will melt)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Quality Instructions really suck, video is out dated but helped a lot. Had to call UPR for difference in catch can mounting. It now has an extension piece to mount to the can to the truck. It really is though a quality product. Hardest part was fitting the passenger side 90 degree fittings and hoses through the forward gap inbetween the radiator and battery.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice can! I ordered this oil separator catch can thinking it would be in black but to my pleasant surprise it came in polished aluminum. Looks great on my truck and now I have peace of mind regarding the longevity of my engine. This is a well built unit and was simple to install. Free shipping also made this a pleasant purchase!

So I have a 2012 King Ranch (73,400 miles) with 3.5L Ecoboost. I've never experienced any issues with shudder or engine issues, however, I'm missing the $70K for a new one so this one will need to make well into the 100K miles. So is this a good idea now?

Asked by: Michael
It's never a bad idea to start using an oil separator.

Hi .. My question is ..Would i be better of mounting my catch can inside the engine compartment instead of between Rad and front Grille due to cooler -30 weather. will it keep the catch can more equal to the the engines temp and more functional .

Asked by: aFordnut
No, it wouldn't make a difference.

What's the diff. Between black catch can and satin

Asked by: david46
Only the color. The black catch can has an anodized black finish while the satin has a satin clear anodizing over the aluminum.
