Vehicle Fitment

This product will fit the following Mustang years:

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Set screw on telescoping collar STRIPPED out Purchased 4/25/2017. Installed and then went to adjust the TINY set screw on the telescoping collar with the SUPPLIED allen key and the hex head stripped out. Either tightened far too much by manufacturer or they used Loctite. Called and talked to Tony at CJP. He recommended drilling out set screw and tapping new threads.... HUH!? After spending $THOUSANDS w/ CJ Pony, Dallas Mustang is about to get more of my business! Avoid! VERY disappointed in response from CJ Pony rep!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Thread puller thread size is a question got the wheel on, need to remove it and spending all day trying to hunt down the thread puller thread size, unit is aluminum and suspecting that it's a stripped 5/16" from the factory as this is the closest bolt I've found yet it slips right in and out, tried m8 and no luck either... called cj and no one knows. i'd say look for a better quality item if you ever plan on removing it, or own a drill and tap to make your own threads....

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Do Not Buy!!! Just bought my ‘66 Mustang and was excited to get the new steering wheel on. Opened this adapter kit, read the “instructions”, then went to the internet to find more details. Found none. I put the pieces together as they seemed to go - pins in the back of the adapter, bends of the sleeves around the pins, following the contour of the copper. Installed the hub using the screw pattern of the wheel to determine straight/up/center, this put the sleeve/pins on the left side with the turn signal. This seemed to go smoothly. Wheel and horn button next, minor issue of one screw either being too small or the hole too big - I ignore this for now, figure I can get this taken care of later. Crank up the car, heading to the tire shop before they close. Nope, I barely made it out of my carport. As I turned the wheel I hear crunching noises, turn signals activate, and then I see a wisp of smoke. SMOKE. In my new-to-me Mustang. Shut off the car, fly in the house to get the tools out again and got the assembly off. The sleeve around the pins is mangled, and has damaged the copper on the back of the hub. I called CJ Pony Parts only to hear a wait time of over 380 (yes, 380) minutes. No phone number available for Volante, shot them an e-mail. I’m extremely unhappy with this purchase, the lack of instructions, and the lack of customer service from both companies.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Garbage Center shaft OD is larger than stock. Turn signal trip hits without being engaged. .040 larger. Reps at CJ not helpful and frankly have no clue. Don't buy. Had to call manufacturer direct for help
