Wildwood Adjustable Master Cylinder Pushrod Kit With Adapters is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from SSBC adjustable Master Cylinder pushrod I probably will not need this part but, I think the idea of an adjustable Master Cylinder push rod unit is a good one if you get a long or short pedal performance.

Product Questions

I have a 1977 Jeep CJ5. The push rod is to short and I have about 5"-6" travel before it engages the master cylinder piston, which only gives me about 3" of braking left. Would this cure the problem?

Asked by: vintage1964mustang
Although this will fit many applications I wouldn't be able to tell you if this would fix you problem.

will this work with baer disc brake system.the rod I currently have wont work with brake switch its too big.currently I have Scott Drake Disc Brake Push Rod Set Adjustable Manual 1965-1968.with offset rod that wont fit into brake switch.

Asked by: davey boy
Sometimes when the flat part of the rod is to big and the brake lights stay on or the switch cannot be put on correctly, the flat part of the rod may have to be slightly clearanced to work properly, if this is the problem you are describing.

I have a low brake pedal after converting from manual to power drum brakes.  Will this kit help to bring the brake pedal up higher?

Asked by: z2870
This kit will not work on a power brake booster, make sure your brakes are adjusted properly, out of adjustment drum brakes will give a low pedal.
