Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent After getting the cheaper gasket which didn't fit properly and made it impossible to get the trim back on , I bought the US made Concours gasket. It fit like a glove and the trim was an ease to install.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy install, looks and fits good I was really happy with the ease of installation after all the stories I had heard. I watched the videos available and the w/s went in quite smoothly as a solo project. I was able to use a section of clothesline to rope the seal in and used my fingers to coax the seal in the corners. This was one of the easier projects on my car!

Is this considered a aftermarket part ? Reason I am asking is, the place that is supposed to replace my windshield, said they fit awful if aftermarket ? Doesn't want to do the job if is... He says the corners buckle up and don't seal ?

Asked by: Bobchic1
All windshield weatherstrips are going to be aftermarket. They dont produce original weatherstrips any more. This is a quality weatherstrip, we have never heard of a problem with them. This type of weatherstrip requires a sealer, strip caulk and CJ's Part Number: ADWT

Here is the link, http://www.cjponyparts.com/eastwood-flexible-strip-caulk-fuel-tank-seal-98/p/EW31050/. You will need to use 2 tubes of this sealant when the window is installed, http://www.cjponyparts.com/windshield-window-sealant-tube/p/ADWT/
