Ford Racing Super Cobra Jet Cylinder Head Bare 429/ 460

Super Cobra Jet: three words that, when combined, mean serious performance. These bare Super Cobra Jet Cylinder Heads (M-6049-SCJ) from Ford Racing feature revised valve angles and locations, to reduce cylinder wall shrouding and improve flow. Redesigned combustion chambers are designed to accommodate more centrally-located valves.

This premium-quality Ford Racing cylinder head fits 429 and 460 engines (except Boss 429) and will provide between 25 and 50 more HP more than normal Cobra Jet heads, depending on displacement and camshaft.

Specifications:
- Revised valve angles and locations to reduce cylinder wall shrouding and improve flow

- 2.200" intake valve, 1.76" exhaust valve
- Flows approximately 330 CFM intake and 225 CFM exhaust
- 72cc combustion chambers

- 25-50 HP increase over Ford Racing aluminum Cobra Jet heads depending on displacement and camshaft
- Uses Motorcraft AGSP series spark plugs

Additional Notes:
- If replacing Ford Racing or production Cobra Jet heads, new intake valve notches are required.
- Intended for off-road use only--may not be street legal in your area.
- This Super Cobra Jet Cylinder Head is sold individually. Two will be required for a complete engine re-build. Will not fit on Boss 429 engines.
- Sold Bare. Additional valvetrain components must be purchased and installed.
