Clutch Equalizer Bar Kit for 1965 Mustangs with a 289/302 Engine. Will not work with 289 HI-PO.

Due to the many variations CJ Pony Parts has put these kits together to help take out the guess work when rebuilding your equalizer bar.

Kit Includes:
- Equalizer Bar
- Upper & Lower Clutch Rods
- Clutch Rod Boot
- Clutch Release Lever Boot
- Frame & Engine Side Equalizer Pivot Studs
- Equalizer Bar Bushing, Washer & Clips
- Springs for the Release Lever

No, the cable conversion will eliminate all the original rod's and equalizer bar.

You could, but you would have to buy each part individually, not as a kit.

Hey, im doing a 1965 mustang c4 automatic to a 3 speed, my car also has tri-y headers do i need to go with the hi po kit to clear the headers? thanks for the help.
