Rear Spoiler Assembly 1969-1970 is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Spoiler Alert! Spoiler itself seemed to be very true / level. I think will look good without any paint. Mounting brackets seemed to be robust as well. I did not necessarily like the Black Oxide - Socket Head Bolts (Ones for adjusting the angle) as being exposed to the weather I expect will develop surface rust.

Product Questions

Will this fit a 65 coupe

Asked by: Randy M
It would fit with some modification to the underside of the trunk lid, it is specific for the 69-70 fastback.

Good morning! I'm wanting to add the wing to my 69 Fastback. I've seen a lot of conversation online about mounting not being as stable without the brace brackets that go on the underside of the trunk lid. Can you clarify if support brackets are needed?

Asked by: Gearoholic
Yes you should use the support brackets.

the 69-70 mustang mach 1 rear spoiler is that the same one that will fit 69 fairlane 500 fastback?

Asked by: raya3581
That fitment isn't noted on our product page, so it's likely not something we've ever tested. That doesn't mean it won't work, but it doesn't mean it will either.

Is the spoiler the same for a 1970 as a 1971 mustang? My 1970 fast back has a spoiler but sits very close to the trunk lid I think it has 1971  spoiler with short pedestals  can I buy 1970 pedestals to fit my spoiler

Asked by: Merv

Can you tell what the difference is between a 1970 and a 1972 mustang rear spoiler I'm trying to get one for my 68 fairlane sportroof that would look the best thanks
