- Paintable
- Made of Strong Composite for Sag-Free Performance

It has a nice, smooth, dull black finish that you can paint if you want or leave as is. It also has an adjustable spoiler angle, just like the original rear spoilers used to, and comes with two metal die-cast pedestals with threaded metal inserts, pedestal gaskets and all of the hardware you'll need to install it. Rear Spoiler Assembly 1969-1970 is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Spoiler Alert! Spoiler itself seemed to be very true / level. I think will look good without any paint. Mounting brackets seemed to be robust as well. I did not necessarily like the Black Oxide - Socket Head Bolts (Ones for adjusting the angle) as being exposed to the weather I expect will develop surface rust.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Splendid. I have yet to fit this spoiler as it's a final piece, I am carrying out a light restoration at present .But with 30 years running body and paint shops know if a part is any good or not. Very impressed with the finish and fixings.

Product Questions

Will this fit a 68 coupe?

Asked by: Beth102087
This is not a direct fit for the 68 coupe, it may require some modification to the trunk lid bracing to work.

I would like to duplicate the style of the 70 Mach 1 on my '12 GT. What do you think about using the 69-70 rear spoiler or the '71-73 spoiler. I already have the honeycomb back panel installed and have ordered rear window slats.

Asked by: Todd68
You would have to take measurements of the back of your car and compare to the width of the spoilers to see which one would be the best fit.

Will this fit a 65 coupe

Asked by: Randy M
It would fit with some modification to the underside of the trunk lid, it is specific for the 69-70 fastback.

Good morning! I'm wanting to add the wing to my 69 Fastback. I've seen a lot of conversation online about mounting not being as stable without the brace brackets that go on the underside of the trunk lid. Can you clarify if support brackets are needed?

Asked by: Gearoholic
Yes you should use the support brackets.

Yes, it will.

the 69-70 mustang mach 1 rear spoiler is that the same one that will fit 69 fairlane 500 fastback?

Asked by: raya3581
That fitment isn't noted on our product page, so it's likely not something we've ever tested. That doesn't mean it won't work, but it doesn't mean it will either.
