Ford Racing Assembled Super Cobra Jet Cylinder Head with Dual Springs for Mustangs with a 429 or 460 Engine.

Ford Racing is proud to offer their Super Cobra Jet Cylinder Head (M-6049-SCJA) with Dual Springs for your 429 or 460 engine. This upgraded cylinder head reduces cylinder wall shrouding and improve flow, with redesigned combustion chambers to accommodate the more centrally-located valves.

- 2.200" intake valve, 1.76" exhaust valve
- Flows approximately 330 CFM intake and 225 CFM exhaust
- 72cc combustion chambers
- 290cc intake runner, 148cc exhaust runner
- 25-50 HP increase over Ford Racing aluminum Cobra Jet heads depending on displacement and camshaft
- Uses Motorcraft AGSP series spark plugs

Your Cobra engine will have between a 25 and 50 HP boost depending on displacement and camshaft choice, thanks to this upgraded head. This premium-quality head from Ford Racing fits 429 and 460 engines (except BOSS 429) and is intended for off-highway uses only. This Ford Racing head uses the same valves, valve springs, retainers, and 7/16 inch stud-mounted roller rockers as the current Ford Racing 429 Cobra Jet heads, and the standard Cobra Jet intake and exhaust manifolds bolt right on.

Additional Notes:
- If replacing Ford Racing or production Cobra Jet heads, new intake valve notches are required.
- Intended for off-road use only--may not be street legal in your area.

Please Note: This Super Cobra Jet Cylinder Head is sold individually--two will be required for a complete engine re-build. Will not fit on Boss 429 engines.
