With nitrous oxide, you can increase the already potent power of your engine by injecting N2O directly with the air and fuel in your cylinders. The added oxygen provides more power in a similar way to the forced induction of a turbocharger or supercharger. Moreover, the cooling effect that nitrous oxide has when it vaporizes reduces the temperature of the intake air. This means more density and even more oxygen for your engine to burn, leading to...you guessed it...more power!

Depending on your set-up, you can add hundreds of horsepower during the times that your nitrous oxide is being applied to your engine. Typically applied in short bursts on the drag strip, the addition of a nitrous spray to your engine will grant immense power without the lag of a turbocharger. Just make sure that you’re keeping things within the limit of your set-up so that you can avoid wear and tear, damage, or a parts failure.
