Custom Autosound started out when Carl Sprague modified his first cassette player for his own 1963 Corvette Coupe, he had no idea that he would one day transform his passion of installing modern audio equipment tastefully in classic cars into a business that has lasted more than thirty years. Mr. Sprague established Custom Autosound in 1977 Fullerton, California and began manufacturing AM/FM cassette radios for eight different car models in 1981.
