1. To start the installation of your new Mustang Dynacorn Fenders, remove the grille, hood and wiring or push them or disconnect them out of the way. Take pictures of the old fender, including the match to the lower valance, headlight castings, hood lines, and door lines. Keep all shims separated and bagged for reference later.

2. Remove the old fender assembly and the Mustang splash shields. It is easier to remove the headlight castings once the fender is off. They have one nut buried up high that is difficult to get to on the car. Go through the fender at the front hood side of the fender. There is an oval hole that a socket will fit in. Count the shims at each bolt and tape them together.

3. Pre-fit the new Mustang fender to the car. Line up the door lines and hood lines, trial fit headlight casting. Some fit well, but some don't, and it doesn't matter whether they are original or replacements. Pay attention to hole locations at all points. You may need to elongate certain holes to make a good fit or have room for adjustments. Be sure the fit is good with the lower valance also. Be sure the body lines down the door center section and lower door match up.

4. Once the fit of your Mustang fender is good, remove it and block it with 400 grit paper to find any highs or lows that may need filled. Fix as needed.

5. Apply a Mustang epoxy primer.
6. Once that is dry, apply another three coats of the Mustang primer.
7. Refit your new Mustang Dynacorn Fenders to the car, align all edges, and attach it, then you're done!
