Oil Pressure Sending Units
Oil pressure sending units help monitor the level of oil in your Mustang. They transmit this data using your Mustang's gauges and check oil light. A faulty unit could inadvertently cause you to run out of oil by giving you false information. Getting the correct readings is crucial so you don’t end up stranded, or even worse, damaging your engine.
If your oil sender switch isn’t working properly, you’ll want to replace it sooner rather than later. Most oil pressure sending units are direct-fit replacements for easy installation.
If you’re working on a restoration project, you may need a new oil pressure sending unit extension. A CJ Classics or Scott Drake extension will allow you to mount the oil sender switch away from the engine block. Unit extension lead wires, covers, and adapters are also available to replace damaged components.
