Mustangs are timeless and classic, but the rear seat area is often overlooked. The main feature of the rear seat area is the rear seat brace. Rear seat frames provide essential support for the trunk lid hinges and body integrity to minimize rear end flex.

Rear seat dividers separate the trunk and fuel tank from the passenger compartment. Factory dividers were originally made from fiber board but replacement dividers are typically made from a much stronger metal material. If you want more storage space, then look into fold-down seat latches, or remove the entire rear seat assembly with a rear seat delete kit. Then get to work on the front of your cabin with interior kits and consoles.
