Restomod Engine

Upgrading your Mustang’s engine with restomod parts is a great way to get more power without sacrificing its vintage appeal.

While performing upkeep on your classic Mustang, it’s likely you’ll find a part or two that needs to be replaced. Instead of replacing with an exact replica, many opt to upgrade parts as they replace them. Even a simple upgrade, like adding a new air cleaner or air filter, can improve your engine’s performance.

Other improvements, like converting your Mustang to an EFI system, require more mechanical know-how. They'll also have the biggest effect on horsepower. Simply upgrading your carburetor can also have major impacts on performance though.

If you enjoy showing off your Mustang and all the hard work you’ve done, then underhood dress-up items can help. Valve covers and oil breather caps help you personalize your engine bay while also serving valuable purposes.
