With only 50 models produced, the Mustang E is one of the rare early Mustangs known for fuel-efficiency. Only available as a fastback, it featured a 250ci 6-cylinder engine and no air conditioning. In can be identified by its unique badging on the rear fenders.

Built by Monroe Shocks and Hot Rod magazine and released in 1977 was the Monroe Handler Mustang. This Mustang featured a number of improvements such as a Roush-tuned 363ci engine capable of producing 400 horsepower and an upgraded exterior with fenders and other enhancements.
