The starter solenoid is one of those very common parts that ends up needing replaced if you're have starting issues. From years of constant use, the starter solenoid will eventually begin to lose its structure by becoming brittle around the casing. The posts may also come loose which will eventually cause connection issues.
Tech Tip: When you replace the starter or any of the ignition wiring in your classic Bronco, CJ Pony Parts recommends replacing the starter solenoid at the same time to avoid any starting issues.
