Their manufacturing process begins with 356.2 aluminum, which soon gets melted and prepared for casting at the Velgen Wheels facilities. During this process, all of the impurities are removed, preparing the raw aluminum to get turned into new Velgen Wheels. Meanwhile, the molds for the various Velgen Wheels are preheated, getting them ready to receive the raw aluminum. At this point, the aluminum is formed into new Velgen Wheels using their low pressure casting process.

To verify that the casting process was completed without air pcokets, every Velgen Wheels product passes through an X-ray machine, just to make sure. The new Velgen Wheels then go through a multi-stage heating process, at various temperatures, then a three stage CNC process to fine-tune the look. From there, all new Velgen Wheels experience a run-out test, balancing test and water leakage test. Finally, every one of the new Velgen Wheels gets powder coated, then experiences another battery of tests to ensure it meets quality standards. Finally, the new Velgen Wheels are packed and shipped to the United States for distribution.
