This Complete Brake Line Kit features the correct contours, this helps properly place the brake lines in the factory location. The Original Steel Brake Lines are designed for owners that are building an all original 1966 Mustang. The Stainless Steel Brake Lines are an upgrade over the Original Steel Lines. The Stainless Steel Brake Lines are an upgrade since the lines won't rust or corrode. Each Brake Line has the correct brake line fitting. Once the brake line fittings are installed Classic Tube forms a double flare on each end of the brake line.
Tech Tips:
- Original steel lines will give your Mustang a classic factory-original look, while the more modern stainless steel lines will rust less than the original steel.
- If you are doing a disc brake conversion on a drum brake car, it is recommended you order brake lines for your car’s original configurations. Many disc brake conversion kits are made to work with the original drum brake lines and may not match up to factory disc brake lines.
