is it the same steering box for 6 cylinder as 289 v 8 engine what other steering parts might I have to change to switch engines

Asked by: slate
This is universal for all 1965-1966 Mustangs, so you'd be good no matter what engine you have.

I'm hung up on "manual" steering box. Other options are power assist conversions. I want to clarify that this component will replace the stock steering box of a Mustang with power steering.

My 1963 Falcon has a rag joint. Will this box be able to replace it?
