Folddown Seat Trim Set Fastback 1969-1970

New always looks nice, but there is a problem with the side pieces that go behind the hinge. They are 1/8 inch shorter than the originals and the chrome flaked off at the elbow when I had to force them on. The kit is pricey and I am not happy about this. I was told I could not get just these two parts. It dosen't matter because the rep I spoke with measured the pieces from a set and they also were the 1/8 inch shorter. This is the second pricey item I had a problem with. The other was the Dash Pad. So much for original tooling and quality control in the aftermarket.

New chrome really makes the fold down look like new. Small problem with the side pieces that go behind the hinge, had to re-bend the corner fold to get them to line up but no big deal. This kit has a back chrome piece under the trap door, but actually 69-70's didn't use that piece. Much cheaper than re-chroming the original pieces.
